And you know what!! When it came out of the washing machine it looking brighter and the stain was completely gone!!!!!!! With the other brand I had to prewash whites to get the same result. It totally blew me away, I have purple hair (yes!, Barney the dinosaur purple) and I had on a white shirt, for some strange reason my hair dyed the shirt collar purple!! so I decided to see if the detergent was good enough to remove the stain. But I decided to give it a try since the store was out of stock for the other brand that I regularly buy. So i have to be honest i was a little skeptical about this product, had tried the regular Tide detergent before and it drove me crazy with the itching and again it was to harsh for my skin.

I ussualy use other brands that are dye and perfume free because I always get a strange allergy on my skin plus I have a small child. First of all i fell in love with this detergent. This is packaged in a nice, light-colored container that isn't a huge eyesore in my laundry room/guest bathroom. Some laundry detergents come in hideous, loud colored containers that all but burn my eyes out. This is probably a mute point, but I one thing that I really like is that the package is so aesthetically pleasing. I formerly used the Arm and Hammer brand that is hypoallergenic, but it has a strong scent that tended to linger on my clothes. I honestly like this so much that when I finish the sample, I'm going to buy some. They came out cleaner than they have been probably since I bought them! There were some light stains that the detergent got out and it got out all of the sweat stink.

I used it on my sheets first since they were ridiculously nasty thanks to my hourly hot flashes during the night.

I also liked that my laundry did not feel like it was full of soap and suds when I pulled it out of the washing machine. The scent was enough to make my stinky sheets smell fresh, but not so much that it was overwhelming or that I could readily place the fresh scent back to the detergent. I liked the way that it had a light pleasant, almost clean scent to it, but it doesn't smell like perfume or even laundry detergent. I love this laundry detergent! I tend to stick to more natural products/hypoallergenic when it comes to laundry because of scents and dyes, and this is one of the best I have used. Overall, it does a great job of cleaning my laundry without the bad stuff. It also doesn't have funny/odd scent that you would find in many products that are free from dye and scents. Tide free cleaned our laundry just as well as regular Tide but without the added stuff. Why shouldn't we use these types of products when we are adults if they are good for babies? Without artificial scents and dyes in the detergent means we don't have to expose ourselves to it on a daily basis. As I have started to look more into cleaning using natural products, this was a no brained. I've typically associated dye and scent free detergents for families with babies and little children since they have more sensitivities to dyes and chemical fragrance. I've used Tide for many years because I find that it get my clothes cleaner. If you are looking for a new alternative detergent without dyes and artificial scents, Tide Free is a great option. You are our detergent of choice for our household. So, if you want clean clothes, if you have, or even if you don't have, issues with your skin or allergies, then this is a great choice for you as well! So good, in fact, that the wife has already gone out to buy another bottle for when this one is gone. We washed work clothes, wear around clothes, and our sports clothes.and trust me, with a 16 year old boy on his high school boy's basketball team, who spends HOURS in a hot sweaty gym on the weekends.so much so that he STINKS when he gets done and sits in the vehicle and we ALL have to roll down the windows, this detergent was put TO.THE.TEST. Washed our whites, our delicates, our "normals". Clothes come out clean and smelling nice. I waited to review this product until we each have had a handful of clothes washed with Tide Free & Gentle. We also have a HE machine, so we have to limit ourselves there. Son and wife have skin sensitivity issues, so finding a detergent that we all like can be tough.
