Fire Support Sergeant for a SBCT Infantry Battalion with a wartime mission to deploy anywhere in the world within 96 hours serves as the Fire Support NCO (FSNCO) on a Company Fire Support Team advises the Company Fire Support Officer conducts battle tracking of platoon forward observers trains and evaluates the enlisted personnel in the Company Fire Support element and the maneuver forward observers plans and coordinates all administrative and logistical support ensures Company Fire Support personnel are fully deployable and self-reliant accountable for Fire Support equipment valued in excess of $4,000,000.00.
